Welcome
My goal is to help you love yourself for who you are while opening to the possibility of change.
You can always expect to find with me a safe space that offers compassion, warmth, and collaboration with your needs as we uncover your path.
Together we seek the ways you can "ring the bells that still can ring." Although you can't change the past, you can cultivate the strengths in what the past has made of you. We explore the interplay of your strengths and their shadow side, the "cracks" in your feelings where light can enter.
With couples the "cracks" appear as fighting or withdrawing. Together we work to turn problems into opportunities for intimate conversation, whether you are a new couple or have been together for many decades.
If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
Please call or email me for an individual or couple (or other relationship) therapy appointment. I offer a free phone consultation (up to 20 minutes), if you wish.

My husband and colleague, Dan Wile, PhD, was founder and developer of Collaborative Couple Therapy and a couple therapist in private practice in Oakland, CA for 45 years. He taught at several graduate schools in the San Francisco Bay Area and gave professional workshops throughout the US and internationally.
At the time of his death in 2020, he had completed an advanced draft of Solving the Moment: A Collaborative Couple Therapy Manual, which he saw as his most significant written legacy. In accordance with Dan’s wishes, I have edited and published a final version of the book which you can find via these links:
